Issue Position

What happened to Flint, Michigan's drinking water was not caused by nature. It was caused by poor decisions made by political leaders. Our political leadership in Madison is traveling down the same road. Decisions by our legislators have forced our Department of Natural Resources to give up on protecting Wisconsin's resources. My opponent wrote a bill on high capacity wells that would not have let the DNR make a move in regulating these wells without legislative approval at every step. In essence it would have prevented the DNR from any meaningful regulation of high capacity wells.
